I finally beat the jet lag and I’m excited to share some of the highlights from my recent trip to Europe. I was in London for a couple days before but got my first favorite food find in Barcelona at La Boqueria. If you like fruit, seafood and lots of people, this is the place for you.
While clutching my bag (this is a pickpocket’s paradise), we got right into the crowd to see what the market had to offer. We saw everything from the very familiar…
to the unfamiliar. This is dragonfruit – ready to spoon!
La Boqueria is just minutes from the port of Barcelona so fresh seafood is plentiful.
But it’s Spain, so they LOVE their ham. Check the Iberico ham just hanging out…
Plenty of fresh ground spices available by the kilo. Who needs a bottle and a label?
