Peach basil feta toast with basil garnish

These Peach Toasts with Basil and Feta are the perfect easy appetizer for summer. Toasted bread, juicy peaches, fresh basil and feta are delicious together in one bite! Pair these with a glass of white wine for a light meal.

It makes a perfect appetizer or snack. This recipes is ready in less than 10 minutes. You can toast the bread on the grill, in the oven or in a skillet on the stovetop!

These ingredients work really well together.

Fresh peaches work well in both sweet and savory dishes. This Peach Basil & Feta toast delivers sweet, savory, salty and crunchy all in a couple of bites.

Peaches and basil may sound like an odd combo but these two are made for each other. You can even add fresh sweet corn to the mix for texture or a drizzle of balsamic glaze as a tangy topper.

This toast is a delicious departure from the typical peach pairing with cinnamon, nutmeg, sugar and vanilla.

Pairing ideas

Serve these peach toasts as a healthy snack or appetizer or combine with a variety of dips and vegetables for a light dinner.

Add slices of prosciutto or shaved roasted turkey to make a more substantial bite – more of a heavy hors d’oeuvres.

These toasts go great with a glass of white wine. Serve them as an appetizer to a fish or chicken dinner or alongside a white bean dip for lunch.

Fresh peaches are in season and most flavorful during late summer. Use them in salads, healthy appetizers and entrees like my Bourbon Peach Glazed Salmon and the recipes below.

Try it out and let me know what you think. And I’m curious… what other combos have you tried with peaches that work?

Peaches and basil are great together! I just made a nectarine salsa that has red onion and cilantro in it – you can try the same combo w peaches!

I thought about adding sweet onion to this but stopped short and kept it basic. That salsa sounds delicious. For some reason though, I tend to skip right over the nectarines… need to get them a chance!

So simple, yet so summery! Love the peach/basil/feta combo. Have a bunch of peaches ripening on my counter, so must give this a try. Pinning!

Such beautiful photos! The tiny basil leaves are so cute. 🙂 I will put this on my appetizer menu the next time I have dinner guests. Makes me realize I have not had peaches in my CSA this summer. 🙁

Thanks, Janice! Aren’t the basil leaves cute!?

That peach situation must be remedied… summer is not quite summer with fresh peaches!
