A little sweet, a little spicy this pineapple ginger green smoothie is easy on the tastebuds and helps calm the stomach.

Vegan Pineapple Ginger Green Smoothie

Leave your weekend woes behind with my vegan Pineapple Ginger Green Smoothie. Packed with digestion-friendly pineapple and tummy calming ginger this green smoothie can help you ease into the work week feeling lighter and refreshed.

The ginger adds a hint of spiciness and delivers 6-gingerol, a key antioxidant in ginger that helps settle the stomach by reducing nausea. And pineapple is a source of bromelain, an enzyme shown to help with indigestion. Each ingredient in this green smoothie serves a purpose while delivering plenty of vitamin C, magnesium and potassium for overall health.

To be honest, I’m not much of a smoothie girl but I have a few in rotation. This is one of my all time favorites. We’ve had a rainy weekend in Atlanta. It’s been gloomy, gray and it’s about time to turn the AC in the house all the way off. Even with the specks of yellow, orange and brown outside this smoothie will brighten any day from the inside out.

I still haven’t tried a green smoothie but I love the idea of all the health benefits in this one and it also sounds delicious – I just need to be brave and give one a go!

This one is light with an almost tropical feel. It’s an easy way to get a serving or two of greens in. Definitely give it a go!
